Live register figures fall by over 200.

Live register figures in the county have fallen by over 200 in the last month. The number signing on in February was 6,930, a slight increase on the same period last year.The biggest increase in the month was in Tralee with an extra 100 people signing on compared to January.Two towns, Listowel and Killorglin registered a monthly decrease. Nationally the numbers signing on the live register have fallen slightly to 180 thousand. June Tinsley from the National Organisation for the Unemployed is treating the figures with caution.
