Listowel Councillors refuse to take no for an answer from Transport Minister

Listowel Municipal District councillors have agreed to keep writing to the Minister for Transport until he agrees to visit regarding the condition of roads in North Kerry.

Sinn Féin Cllr Dianne Nolan described correspondence from the Minister as insulting, while Fine Gael Councillor and Cathaoirleach Aoife Thornton proposed the council continue writing to the Minister to highlight the serious condition of the roads in North Kerry.

An email sent on behalf of Minister Shane Ross on May 5th said the request for the Minister to visit was being closed as he had travelled to North Kerry when he visited in April.
