Limestone caves causing dips to appear in busy Tralee road

A meeting of Tralee Municipal District has heard that limestone caves have led to a busy road in Tralee dipping in parts.

Labour councillor Terry O’Brien called on Kerry County Council to look at two areas of Bracker O’Regan road where caving is occurring leading to dangerous dips on the road, which opened in 2007.

Structural and surface remedial works are to be carried out as a priority.
