Liason committee asks Mucross wildlife service to reconsider front door decision

The Chairman of the Muckross House Liaison Committee says he believes they are justified in writing to the National Parks and Wildlife Service to ask them to reconsider a decision to close the front door of the house for access in favour of a new rear entrance point. Brian O Leary says the proposed decision will effect business operating on the grounds of the house and will take from the experience if visitors are forced to enter from the back door. Plans have been submitted to Kerry County Council to change entrance to facilitate disability access. Cllr O Leary says they are asking The Parks and Wildlife Service to find an alternative.
