Leicester Are Out Of The Champions League

Leicester’s Champions League fairytale is over, after a 1-all draw at home to Atletico Madrid in the second leg of their quarter final.

Jamie Vardy equalised on the night, but they go out 2-1 on aggregate.

Leicester boss Craig Shakespeare says he can’t fault his team’s effort.

Joining Atletico in Friday’s semi final draw ar their city rivals Real Madrid.

The reigning champions were forced to extra time after Bayern Munich levelled the tie with a 2-1 win over 90-minutes.

But with Arturo Vidal sent off, Bayern crumbled in extra time.

Cristiano Ronaldo scored a hat-trick to help Real to a 4-2 win on the night, and a 6-3 aggregate victory.
