Seven leading tour operators and travel agents from Finland have been visiting Kerry.
They were taking part in a fact-finding visit of Kerry and Ireland over the weekend, as guests of Tourism Ireland and Fáilte Ireland.
The aim was to showcase the Wild Atlantic Way, and to encourage Finnish travel professionals to incorporate more of Ireland into their programmes or to include it for the first time.
The group visited Kenmare, before travelling via Molls Gap to Killarney, where they had a guided tour of Muckross House and Gardens, and then went onto Tralee to do a Victorian walking tour.
Tourism Ireland’s Manager for the Nordic Region Aileen Hickey says these visits are important, as they help secure more business.
