Labour Leader to visit Labour Leader twice this week.

Labour leader Pat Rabbitte will visit the county twice in 48 hours this week as the local election campaign steps up. Mr Rabbitte will attend the South Kerry constituency A.G.M on Thursday where he’ll meet the party’s five candidates. On Saturday night the North Kerry Labour Party Council will honour Dick and Maeve Spring and Pat Rabbitte will also be there.The function will also pay tribute to long-serving members of the party. Two of Labour’s three councillors will not be running in June. Deputy Breda Moynihan Cronin has opted out because of the abolition of the dual mandate and Cllr Maeve Spring has decided to retire from politics.
