Killorglin Rower Travels To The World Senior Rowing Championships Today.

Monika DukarskaMonika Dukarska will travel to Amsterdam today to compete in the Women’s Double Scull event at the 2014 World Senior Rowing Championships. Monika will join Helen Hannigan (Walshe) and the girls will race against 21 competitors from the following countries: Australia, Austria, Bulgaria, Denmark, New Zealand, Ukraine, USA, Poland, Italy, Spain, Estonia, Lithuania, Romania, China, Finland, Netherlands, Russia, Czech Republic, Germany, Norway and Sweden. The racing starts on Monday, the 25th of August with the Women’s Double racing at 4pm (3pm Irish time). Racing will take place every second day with the finals taking place on Sunday, the 31st of August. Monika will return home on Monday, the 1st of September. It is a second senior world championships event attended by the Killorglin athlete.
