Killorglin Gardai investigate alleged theft of five animals

An investigation has been launched by Gardai in Killorglin into the alleged robbery of five animals in the area worth 3,500 euro. The animals, five in calf heifers have been missing since late friday night. Gardai say they are interested in speaking to the driver of a white ford transit van with an ivor williams trailer attached. The incident occured shortly after eleven o clock friday night in the Caragh Lake area. Gardai say it would be extremely difficult to sell on the animals as they have individual department of agriculture tags and identification cards.
