Leo Varadkar’s election as the new leader of Fine Gael, and potentially the next Taoiseach, should be good news for Kerry.
That’s according to Killarney Fine Gael Senator and Leas Cathaoirleach of the Seanad, Paul Coghlan.
He said Leo Varadkar and Simon Coveney get on well and work well together in Government.
Senator Coghlan also said Kerry deputy Brendan Griffin could figure in the next Cabinet shake-up:
Senator Coghlan said the Fine Gael leadership selection process was very received, engaging the public and grassroots.
