Killarney property sells for over 2 million euro

A commercial property in Killarney has sold for a record price of over 2 million euro. The former supermarket which is in a prime location in the town centre went to auction yesterday afternoon. The former Crowley`s supermarket on College Street in Killarney was up for auction yesterday afternoon in the Arbutus Hotel. Joint selling agents were Tom Spillane and Tadhg CrowleyThe property which is in a central location started at 850 thousand and went up quickly in units of 50 thousand until it reached 1.45 million. It was then withdrawn and put back on the market. At that stage there were 3 bidders and it eventually sold for 2.17 million euro. Property sources in the town say this is a record price for such a sale and sets a new high for Killarney
