Killarney man appointed as president and CEO of Ireland Funds America

A Killarney man has been appointed as president and CEO of Ireland Funds America.

Former St Brendan’s College student David Cronin will take up the position with the world’s largest grant maker for charities in Ireland this June.

Mr Cronin grew up on Loreto Road, Killarney and began his early career on Wall Street, where he worked as an equities and options trader.

He has worked in philanthropy for the last decade raising and investing over $100 million in his role as Chief Executive of UL Foundation.

Mr Cronin says he is committed to the future success of the Ireland Funds.
