Killarney Hotelier dies in Kerry General Hospital

Killarney Hotelier and seal campaigner Sean Eviston has passed away. Mr Eviston collapsed while out walking over the weekend after suffering a brain haemorrhage. He was rushed to hospital but never regained consciousness and passed away at Kerry General Hospital this morning. Sean Eviston was born in Vancouver in Canada and as a young boy moved to Killarney with his parents where he grew up. His mother is originally from Baraduff.The 39 year old was walking his dog on Sunday at the blue pool near Muckross. It was a walk he regularly enjoyed. He was discovered by a couple walking in the same area after suffering a brain haemorrhage and brought to hospital. He passed away this morning. Mr Eviston was due to get married to his fiancée Anna O Brien in June of this year. He was a keen walker and a prominent member of the seal sanctuary. He is survived by his Fiancée, parents, brothers and sisters.
