Killarney hosts conference on alcohol and subatance abuse

A major conference on alcohol and substance abuse is being held in Killarney today. Experts from all over the country have gathered in South Kerry for the event which is being hosted by the South Kerry Life Education Mobile ltd.Former GAA President Dr Mick Loftus was the opening speaker this morning. The practising GP and Coronor is known for being very outspoken on the issue of alcohol. Other speakers at today’s event include DR Chris Luke a consultant who specialises in accident and emergency medicine and Willie Collins Co-Ordinator of services for alcohol and substance abuse for the Southern Health Board region
