Kilarney hotelier confident of recommendations in new action plan.

Killarney hotelier Michael O’Donoghue says he’s confident the majority of the recommendations in the tourism action plan will be implemented in the next two years. Mr. O Donohue has been appointed to the new high level tourism implementation group charged with overseeing the workings of the tourism action plan. He says he will be liaising with the relevant government departments to ensure the plan is implemented. Over the next 2 years Mr. O Donohue will have to ensure over 70 recommendations are adopted in an attempt to double the overseas spend to 6 billion euro. He says the implementation body is committed to moving the process forward.
