Kerry’s water consumption fell between 2015 and 2016 according to the latest CSO figures

Kerry’s domestic water consumption fell between 2015 and 2016 according to the latest CSO figures.

In 2016, Kerry’s consumption levels were at 355 litres which was a drop from 430 litres for the same period in 2015.

The drop has been credited to efforts to fix household leaks.


Nationally, water consumption fell by 8.4% between 2015 and 2016.

The annual average consumption per meter per day in 2016 was 351 litres, a decrease of 8.4% compared with 383 litres in 2015.
