Kerry’s Live Register increases

Kerry’s Live Register is on the rise again. Data from the Central Statistics Office shows that last month12,874 people signed on in the county. Social Welfare Following three months of decreases Kerry’s Live Register jumped over 4% in November. However, the figure is a 10% decrease on the same month last year. The largest monthly increase of over 270 was in Killarney which stood at 2,070. Dingle reported an increase of over 110 to 796, Kenmare rose by 80 to 536 and Caherciveen jumped 55 to 537. There were also increases in Tralee to 5,427 and Killorglin to 1,009. Listowel was the only office to report a decrease to 2499.
