Kerry youth groups urged to apply for funding to host European Youth Week events

Youth groups in Kerry are being urged to apply for funding to host events for European Youth Week.

Léargas, Ireland’s agency for international collaboration and exchange programmes, is offering up to €300 to groups.

European Youth Week takes place from April 29th to May 5th with the theme being Democracy and Me.

It’s hoped to have events that will explore the ways young people can influence decisions and be active in society.

To apply, youth organisations must be already involved in Erasmus+ or European Solidarity Corps. Groups can apply online at The deadline for applications is April 15th.
