Kerry women take part in march to highlight descrimination against women

Up to eighty women from Kerry are in Dublin today taking part in a march to highlight discrimination against women in the social welfare system. A number of community women’s groups from the county are today taking part in a brown envelope campaign which is headed up by the National Women’s Council of Ireland.The campaign is putting pressure on the government to end the discrimination against women by delivering 11,000 brown envelopes to The Minister For Finance.
