Kerry woman is defrauded by Cork stockbroker

It’s been revealed a woman from Kerry was among the clients defrauded by a Cork stockbroker. Stephen Pearson, former W & R Morrogh stockbroker`s partner, pleaded guilty yesterday to 46 charges of defrauding the company’s clients of 5.7 million euro. He is due to be sentenced in October. A parishioner of the Church of Ireland rector in tralee, Canon Robert Warren, was among those defrauded. He says it’s unlikely she and the others affected will be able to recover their savings.
