Kerry Victory At World Handball Championship

Kerry’s Jack O’Shea has won the Mens A Singles at the World Handball Championship.

The Glenbeigh man defeated Daniel Hayes, Tipperary in the Final 17-21 21-5 11-1.

Paul Brady has been forced to withdraw from the World Handball Championships at the Semi-Final stage.


The 5 time champion has had to pull out due to an ankle injury.

At 4 today Kerry’s Jack O’Shea and David Walsh of Waterford play Seamus Connelly and Ian McGlochan, Galway in the Men’s A Doubles semi-final.

At 7 in the Masters A Doubles semi-final Kerry’s Dominick Lynch and Gavin Buggy, Wexford face John Joe Quirke, Kerry and Antrim’s Paul Graham.
