Tourism providers in the county are being urged to attend upcoming networking events.
They’re being organised by Fáilte Ireland and Kerry County Council’s Tourism Unit for tour guides, and those running visitor attractions, activities, and accommodation.
The aim is to help tourism providers increase their knowledge of products and services in their area, which could result in visitors spending more and staying longer.
The first event is being held in the Rose Hotel, Tralee this Monday and is for North Kerry – areas in from Tralee to Tarbert, and Ballybunion to Lixnaw.
The second Kenmare-Beara event is in the Brooklane Hotel, Kenmare on Thursday and is for tourism providers in areas including  Kenmare, Kilgarvan, Sneem, Castlecove, and Tousist.
Those wishing to attend either are asked to register with the council’s Tourism Unit in advance.
Email [email protected] or call 066 7183591.
The events run from 10am to 1pm.
