Kerry to receive €370,000 euro from Dormant Accounts Fund

Funding of over 370 thousand euro has been awarded to the county from the dormant accounts fund. The Duagh Community Family Resource Centre will receive 279 thousand euro. The money will go towards the purchase of accommodation in order to provide additional services for elderly people and people with disability. Over 93 and a half thousand euro will go to the open door network in Tralee.This money will be spent on developing its capacity to provide services for those experiencing domestic violence and abuse. A total of 56 million euro has been approved nationwide for projects that assist the most disadvantaged in society. The announcement has been welcomed by Minister John O Donohue and Deputy Tom McEllistrim.
