Kerry team hoping to bring home more All Ireland titles at Ploughing Championships

Eight Kerry competitors will be going for gold today as the National Ploughing Championships kick off.

Around 300,000 people will visit the site at Screggan, Co Offaly over the next three days, including thousands from Kerry.

17 men and women from the county will travel to Offaly to compete in 15 classes.

The group already have eleven All-Ireland titles between them.

Last year, Causeway cousins Colm Dineen and Michael P Donegan struck gold bringing home two All-Ireland titles and both are in action today in the 3 Furrow Conventional Senior Plough and Intermediate Conventional Plough respectively.
