Kerry TD says there is real concern about UK pension payments due to Brexit

A Kerry TD says the Government must ensure that UK pension payments for people living here need to be protected in Brexit negotiations.

Hundreds of thousands of people in Ireland are in receipt of a private or public British pension after working in the UK or having retired here.

People here who may be affected are being urged to open a UK bank account but Fianna Fail’s Deputy John Brassil says this could be impossible if people don’t have a UK address.
