Kerry Senior Team To Play Waterford

Eoin Brosnan’s game turning second half display in last month’s Allianz National League Final win against Galway has earned him a Kerry recall.He’s back in the side for Sunday’s Bank Of Ireland Munster Senior Football Championship opener against Waterford.14 of the 15 who started Kerry’s last competitive game have been named in the team to face Waterford.Ronan O’Connor is the only one who began the April 23rd League Final success over Galway to lose his place. Eoin Brosnan is preferred in the line-up, coming in at left half forward, with Bryan Sheehan moved into the corner.The team for Sunday includes 11 of the starters in last September All-Ireland Final defeat. Dara O’Cinneide and Liam Hassett have since retired from Inter County football, William Kirby has only just returned to squad training and Mike McCarthy is recovering from a broken hand. The newcomers from that Tyrone loss are Mossie Lyons, Kieran Donaghy, Eamonn Fitzmaurice and Bryan Sheehan.
