Kerry senator speaks on Hughie O’Donnell campaign

Fianna Fáil Senator Mark Daly from Kenmare A Kerry senator says Irish people living in the US need to be very careful when it comes to immigration advice. This week Sarah Casey from Ballyheigue launched a campaign to get her deported husband return to New York. Sarah and her husband Hughie O’Donnell from Donegal had lived and worked in New York for 15 years. However, Mr O’Donnell was arrested by immigration officers as his visa had expired. There are around 50,000 undocumented Irish in the US. Senator Mark Daly from Kenmare is  the Seanad spokesperson for the diaspora. The Fianna Fáil politician has been campaigning for the rights of the undocumented. [audio_player src=””]
