Kerry Senator says illegal dumping offenders should be named and shamed

A Kerry Senator says it is time to name and shame illegal dumping offenders.

The Seanad Leas-Cathaoirleach Paul Coghlan raised the issue in the upper house and suggested a website that would publicly list offenders who don’t pay court fines.

The Fine Gael Senator noted the hard work of Tidy Towns volunteers around the country and described illegal dumping as a source of embarrassment.
