A Kerry Senator believes a two state solution is the only answer to the ongoing conflict in Gaza. The Government’s Chief Whip in the Seanad Paul Coghlan says there needs to be an immediate ceasefire and an end to the blockade in Gaza. Without substantive peace talks the Fine Gael Senator says there will be no progress. Senator Coghlan says the conflict is utterly futile and in no-one’s interest. He added that there must be accountability as there have been clear breaches of humanitarian law.
