Kerry pupils to benefit from new technology to enhance learning experience

Kerry pupils will benefit from a range of new technology to enhance the learning experience in schools.

Junior Minister Brendan Griffin announced that every school in Kerry will receive grants to purchase key technology, including tablets, cloud systems and projectors.

The Fine Gael TD says he is delighted that Kerry schools are set to benefit from the national €50-million investment in ICT infrastructure for all primary and post-primary schools.

He says such technology is revolutionizing how we work and how we live.

Grants will be allocated through a standard lump sum and additional per-capita sums based on the size of the school.
