Kerry parents need to be more aware of how their children are using Snapchat

Kerry parents need to be more aware of how their children are using Snapchat. snapchat Snapchat is a photo messaging application where users can take photos, record videos, add text and drawings, and send them to their friends. Users set a time limit for how long recipients can view their ‘snaps’, after which they are deleted from the Snapchat server. However these ‘snaps’ can be saved on some mobile phones, and a number have been collected to form the content of two new Facebook pages, Killorglin snapchat fails, and Killarney snapchat fails. Andrew Jackson, National Anti-bullying Coordinator with the ISPCC says parents and users of Snapchat and similar apps need to make themselves aware of the consequences of using them: [audio_player src=”http://media.radiokerry.ie/mediamanager/embed/audio/14468/medium/”]
