Kerry MEP to host public meeting in Tralee on EU investment funds

A Kerry MEP is to host a public meeting on EU investment funds in Tralee.

Seán Kelly is lead negotiator on the proposed €15 billion InvestEU programme for the European Parliament’s Industry Committee.

He’s meeting with leading EU voices as he drafts his report on how best to mobilise the funding.


The €38 billion fund will support strategically important projects across the EU, including infrastructure, housing, education, R&D, SMEs, and social investment and skills.

Seán Kelly will host a public meeting on EU investment funds in Tralee next month, with a date and venue yet to be confirmed.
