Kerry men wait until the age of 37 before getting married

Men in Kerry wait until the age of 37 on average before getting married.

That’s according to new figures from the CSO Yearbook.

Men in this county are among the oldest grooms nationally, alongside those in Wexford and Waterford where the average age of a groom is also 37.

Men in Wicklow wait longest when it comes to getting married, they are 38-years-old before saying ‘I do’ on average.

Monaghan grooms are the youngest in the country, with many of them walking down the aisle at 34.
