Kerry marine projects get off the ground

A number of marine projects in the county are set to get off the ground in the next 18 months. Three new piers are planned for South Kerry, Cromane, Ballinskelligs and Bunavalla. Council Engineer Eamonn Scanlon says the piers at Bunavalla and Ballinskelligs will require investment in the region of one million euro each while the Cromane project will cost six million. He says plans to create a new harbour at Knightstown are also progressing.
