Liebherr Container Cranes received nearly €6 million euro in state aid in the past 18 months.
According to figures in today’s Sunday Business Post, the Killarney-based manufacturer received two payments from the State to help create jobs and grow trade.
The grants of €1.9 million and €3.9 million euro were awarded under a 6-year scheme, approved by the EU, to provide support for research and development.
The IDA has an annual €100 million fund from which it can disburse grants to multinational and Irish firms.
Liebherr Container Cranes have been in the county for almost 60 years and employ 800 people locally.
