Kerry has the lowest vacancy rate in commercial properties in Munster.
That’s according to figures from the latest GeoView Commercial Vacancy Rates Report from GeoDirectory.
It also shows that Tralee had the highest commercial vacancy rate in the county at 15.8%.
The national commercial vacancy rate has fallen slightly from 13.3% to 13.2%; out of the total stock of 211,610 commercial properties in the State, 27,951 were vacant at the end of last year.
In the last three months of 2018, 10.6% of commercial properties in Kerry were deemed vacant, up 0.1% on the same period in 2017.
Meath was the county with the lowest commercial vacancy rate at 10.4%, followed by Kerry.
GeoDirectory carried out an analysis of vacancy rates in 80 towns across the country; in Kerry, Tralee at 15.8% was the town with the highest commercial vacancy rate in Q4 2018, while Killarney had the lowest rate in the county at 10.7%, with Listowel in between on 12.7%.
