Kerry Lotto winner says he made windfall discovery during Mass

Lotto, lottery

A Kerry man, who made the windfall discovery during Mass, has collected €289,861 from the National Lottery headquarters.

The lucky player matched five numbers and the bonus during last Saturday night’s draw on the winning ticket, which was bought at Buckley’s Swift Service Station in Ballybunion.

The winner, who wishes to remain anonymous, says the big win was the talk of the town Sunday morning and heard about it during Mass – adding he knew instantly he had the winning ticket.

The lucky Lotto player plans to spend his winnings to pay off the mortgage, on his children and family and will take a holiday of a lifetime.
