Kerry Hurling Manager Very Disappointed By Defeat To Limerick

Kerry manager Fintan O’Connor was very disappointed by their defeat to Limerick in the Allianz Hurling League.

The Kingdom went down 6-21 to 3-8 despite a solid start which saw the teams level midway through the opening period.

The loss came the day after Laois had beaten Offaly in the Division, a result which should suit Kerry’s survival hopes.

At 6 this evening in the semi-final of the Fresher Hurling Championship IT Tralee face Ulster University in Ballykelly, County Kildare.

There’s a 4 o’clock throw-in today in the Coiste Trali Minor Football League, sponsored by D & E Tiling Stove Fitting, as Kerins O’Rahillys host John Mitchels.

Handball’s Munster 40×20 over 35A doubles semi final this evening has Dominick Lynch and John Joe Quirke, Glenbeigh playing Tim Breen and Roger Casey, Cork.

In the Munster over 35B doubles semi final John O’Sullivan and Brian McAvoy, Glenbeigh face Jamie O’Donnell and Tom McDonough, Cork.

Both games are on in Broadford, Limerick, the first at 7.30.
