Kerry Senior Hurler Mikey Boyle says the busy fixture list throughout the month of April hasn’t been ideal for players preparing to line-out for the county in the Joe McDonagh Cup.

Kerry’s first game of the competition will be away to Antrim in Dunloy at 5pm on Saturday May 11th.

That will be followed by another trip away to Westmeath and home games against Laois and Offaly.

Mikey Boyle says Kerry will approach the competition with the sole purpose of winning the title, but the preparations haven’t been all they might be.
