Kerry hotels advised to upgrade websites.

Kerry hotels and guesthouses will have to improve their online deals of they are not to lose out on this growing market, according to the Irish Hotels Federation. The number of consumers booking accommodation on the internet will increase by 3% in 2001 to 11% by next year.A leading expert on hotel administration is telling 400 members of the Irish Hotels Federation at their conference in Killarney that hoteliers in the county can lose visitors if they have a poorly designed website. It`s suggested at today`s conference that as the cost of setting up a website can be expensive that smaller hotels in Kerry should consider joining up together in a large Co Op to increase their marketing viability.
