Kerry homeowners have spent €45.9 million through a home renovation scheme over the past six years.
The Home Renovation Incentive scheme, which was launched in 2013, has facilitated homeowners in the county to carry out over 3,000 home improvement projects.
These projects had an average spend of €14,980 per project, according to the Construction Industry Federation.
Work was carried out completing home extensions, general repair and renovations, window replacement and kitchen improvements.
The CIF says these projects provided a huge boost to the local economy and employment in the construction sector.
