Kerry Group case against Dunnes Stores struck out

A case involving Kerry Group and Dunnes Stores has been struck out at the Commercial Court. The global food and ingredients giant, which has its headquarters in Tralee, took the case claiming alleged trademark infringement. Kerry Group - Listowel The action was brought by Kerry Group’s intellectual rights holding company Zenbury International and centred on its Cheestrings product. Dunnes Stores launched their own brand Cheesy Strings. The case was due to be heard in full in the Commercial Court yesterday but was struck out as the Dunnes Stores’ product has been withdrawn.
