Kerry Fashion Week 2014 takes off tonight

KFW14Kerry Fashion Week officially takes off tonight The annual event, which is the brainchild of local businesswoman Orla Diffily, is now in its 6th year. Kerry Fashion Week run in association with the Sunday Business Post and Image Magazine will showcase the best of local and national designers, and also features a number of exclusives. Celebrating the fashion industry, tonight’s launch by Minister Jimmy Deenihan at the Roast House in Tralee, will also showcase the Fashion Photography Exhibition, and features work from Ireland’s top fashion photographers. On Thursday leading Irish designers Fran and Laura Nolan, owners of the hugely successful womenswear label, Fran & Jane, and Glenbeigh native Erika Fox, who is behind fashion blog Retro Flame, will be among those addressing the Business of Fashion Seminar at the Malton Hotel in Killarney. Ballyheigue’s Don O’Neill will close the New Collections Fashion Show, on Friday night, with an exclusive showcase for the first time in Ireland of his THEIA Spring 2014 Collection. Kerry Fashion Week, will draw to a close on Saturday night, with a gala dinner at the Europe Hotel, to celebrate the Irish Fashion Industry Awards.
