Kerry farmers to share in over 100 million euro vat repayments.

Farmers in the county could share in over 100 million euro of vat repayments. The revenue commissioners and Teagasc are now asking farmers to submit applications for the unclaimed repayments. The money can be reclaimed for developments carried out on farms over the past 6 years.Farmers who are unregistered for vat are entitled to claim for works such as fencing, drainage, land reclamation and building construction. No claims can be made for tractors or other machinery. You can hear more on that story on this evening’s edition of Agritime.
