Kerry farmers to meet with Minister.

Up to 20 farmers in the county are to travel to Dublin next Monday to meet with Minister Martin Cullen regarding problems with one off rural housing. The IFA members are attending a conference on planning, development and housing in rural Ireland.The issue has been the subject of much debate in the county with massive increases in the numbers of section 140s being presented at council meetings. Flor McCarthy, Chairman of the IFA in Kerry says farmers are willing to work with planners. However he says the current situation is unacceptable to farmers in Kerry.
