Kerry is expected to escape the worst of the weather as ex-hurricane Helene passes over the country.

Met Eireann says there will be wet and windy conditions in the county in the coming 24 hours but the more severe gusts seem to be headed towards the Irish Sea.

However, forecaster with Met Eireann Pat Clarke says it is set to be an unsettled week overall in Kerry and is advising the public to keep up to date with their forecasts:
