A Kerry beef cow has scooped top honours at a national awards ceremony. Castleview Camelia, a Limousin cow owned by Sean O'Sullivan in Castleisland

A Kerry beef cow has scooped top honours at a national awards ceremony.

Castleview Camelia, a Limousin cow owned by Sean O'Sullivan in Castleisland has been selected as the 2020 RDS Euro-Star Beef Impact award recipient.

The cow has had eight calves including the bull Castleview Zag who has almost 70,000 offspring.

The Castleview herd was founded in 1988 and since then Sean O'Sullivan has used the best bloodlines available to develop it.
