Extreme caution is advised when driving and motorists are advised to allow additional time to reach their destination. Drivers are also asked to increase the distance between them and the vehicle ahead, to allow for greater stopping distance. Motorists are also advised to carry out checks on their tyres and lights and ensure their vehicle is winter-ready.
