Kerry County Council receives highest grade possible on survey of enforcement practices

Kerry County Council has received the highest grade possible on a survey of enforcement practices.

The Local Authority Environmental Performance Assessment Report uses data from 2014-2016 to grade each authority in a number of areas, including water, waste, air and food waste.

Kerry County Council received an overall ‘Excellent’ grade for 2016, following on from well below average grades in 2014 and 2015.

One of the campaigns highlighted as being positive was the council’s response to reports of unauthorised household waste collection services being offered in the Tralee town area.
