Kerry County Council have proposed to build a walkway in Killarney.
The 2.5-metre-wide path, which caters for both walkers and cyclists, will run from the Flesk Bridge at Maurice O’Donoghue Memorial Park through to the Ross Road.
The proposed development also includes the construction of boundary walls, fences and all associated ancillary works.
The development is currently in the public consultation phase, and construction dates and funding all remain to be determined.
The planning application is available for inspection from County Buildings, Tralee, Killarney Town Hall or http://www.kerrycoco.ie.
Closing date for submissions and observations may be made, in writing, before September 15th.
